HOW LONG? Most orders are shipped out within a week. From the date of order, they are usually delivered within 5-10 business days in Canada, and 5-15 business days in the USA. International shipments depend on the method you choose. Note that times can vary based on economic circumstances and the general world wildness that we are all experiencing right now.

RETURNED PACKAGES

Please do note that additional charges may apply if a package is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided on your order.

We are only able to accept the return of unused/unthreaded slings and wraps within 2 weeks of the shipping date. If you are planning to return a sling or wrap, please email us to confirm your eligibility for the return or exchange and once confirmed, please ensure you use a trackable shipping method and email us with the tracking number.

Once we receive it, it will be confirmed as unused and we will refund your purchase amount minus a restocking fee which will cover our initial expense of sending the sling to you.

Yes they are! Our products are made from top quality linen, weight and flammability tested in compliance with Canadian and American safety regulations. For ou slings, our Aluminum rings are all weight tested to 220 pounds and as with all ring slings, they are approved for use with infants and toddlers from 8-35lb.

Proper use of your ring sling and wraps is important to ensure your baby's safety. Most cities have local babywearing groups - a wonderful resource when it comes to learning how to wear your baby safely.

We are members of the Baby Carrier Industry Alliance (BCIA) and safety committee members at ASTM helping to improve safety standards for baby carriers. Our ring slings are tested by a third party lab and are compliant with the Canadian Consumer Product Safety Act (CCPSA), American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) weight testing requirements as well as the US Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA). We take safety seriously and ensure that even optional safety standards are adhered to.

True North Slings are made in Lethbridge, Alberta by local mamas and papas. Most of our materials are from Canadian and US businesses.

Linen is one of the oldest and strongest fabrics in the world. Linen is not a thirsty crop and so its more eco-friendly than most other fabrics. Because of its strength and loose weave it is cool, breathable and light weight. Linen has no stretch and doesn't stretch out over time. It drapes beautifully for an elegant look that you'll easily be able to dress up or down.

Our linen is grown and milled in Europe, then dyed and softened in the States. Finding the right balance of softness and sturdiness has been so important to us. One isn't more important than the other, because at the end of the day, we want even our single layer linen slings to be able to comfortably take you to the end of your babywearing days. Linen is very easy to care for! Machine wash in cold water and lay flat to dry. While it’s not necessary to iron your wrap, if you prefer, iron with steam at medium-to-hot. If you choose to use detergent, please make sure that its free of optical brighteners. Store your sling in a cool dry place; avoid plastic bags, cardboard boxes and cedar chests.
